I know it’s a simple trick you may already know and I certainly don’t want to come across as condescending BUT, if you go in inventory and click on the various traitstones, it will tell you where to farm. I’d do a screenshot, but I don’t have access to the game for a few hours (away from phone, tablet, etc. can’t login on this PC 
). Does this help? Also, make sure to do Warrens occasionally; you always get the green/light arcanes.

Better. I’ve been keeping track recently to try to plan out my gem spending. Last week, I collected 10-11 tributes per day and that got me more than 3 times as many gems as the guild tasks. Kingdom power is so important

I have 8 kingdoms at PL9 and can only average 13.x gems per tribute.
Is my formula wrong?

I thought tribute chance per kingdom is
Kingdom Power Level tribute chance multiplier x base tribute chance (10%) + status bonus (6%)
instead of
Kingdom Power Level tribute chance multiplier x [ base tribute chance (10%) + status bonus (6%) ]
But I could be wrong
I’ll log the next 10-20 but I could’ve just been getting very lucky.
As for the formula, I’ll use my Whitehelm which is PL16 and 41% tribute.
41 = 3.5 x 10% base + 6% statue bonus
41 = 35 + 6
So you are correct in your first assumption that the formula is:
Kingdom Power Level tribute chance multiplier x base tribute chance (10%) + status bonus (6%)
The main reason for that is probably delves.
There are:
- 0 runic yellow rooms
- 0 runic red rooms
- 1 runic green room
- 2 runic brown rooms
- 4 runic blue rooms
- 5 runic purple rooms

As others have posted, 1508 right now is currently the max income you can have and it comes from a combination of kingdoms and delves – but mostly kingdoms. Maxing your faction renown to 67,500 only gives you an additional 2030 income per day (total across all delves). That’s 84.5 per hour, or 75 gold per day per delve faction (27 factions currently).
Conversely, there are 34 kingdoms. And 1508 per hour is 36,192 per day, minus the 2030 from delves, is 34,162 from kingdoms, or 1004.7 per kingdom, per day.
If you add these all up, you won’t get 1508 per hour, you’ll only get 1401. I’m not honestly sure where the other 107 gold per hour (oer 2568 per day) comes from!

Slight mistake with your calculations. There’s a base 20 gold from each kingdom + 25 gold for completing each quest. So that’s 45 gold per kingdom, totaling an extra 1530 per day.
Take my income for example:
27130 per day, or 1130/h (side note 1130 x 24 = 27120 because the value is actually 1130.4)
1770 from delves (still have many to complete)
1530 from all kingdom quests
6000 from 6 kingdoms at 15+
16800 from 28 kingdoms at <15
Total: 26100
Difference: 1030
I assume that if someone that’s maxed out were to go into their kingdom profile, it would say 36190/day as their income from all kingdoms, which is 35160 from all known sources + 1030 from mystery sources.

In short, in your version, there’s still a “mystery” component contributing 1030?

Correct. I haven’t found any posts/articles that say if there’s a base income. I thought it might be a quest bonus from delves, but dividing 1030/27 doesn’t give a nice round number. Nor does dividing it by 34. Or even 24 (to get a per hour bonus). In fact, 1030 is only divisible by 2, 5 and 103.
However, I think we’re straying from the OPs post. Here are my latest 7 tributes (remembering that most of my kingdoms are at PL9).

i was curious and asked my guildmates about their power levels, many had lvl 15 as the highest, I’m 2nd in command and have that lvl 8, a bit awkward… I have been so blind for not seeing where all the gold and gems come from… I need to step up my game!
In game it says I earn 36,200 from all kingdoms daily. Here are a few things I don’t know:
- Does the Gold per Day from all Kingdoms include linked-faction gold? I don’t think it does, because gold from factions isn’t tied to the delves, it’s tied to total renown.
- In that case, if I add up all the gold I get from every kingdom, including the 45 base+quest gold, I get 33,130 from all kingdoms. That means there is 3070 gold missing, and 34 kingdoms does not divide nicely into that.
- 34*90 = 3060, with a leftover 10. Does a new account start the game with 10 base gold per hour and then get an additional 90 for every kingdom unlocked? That would add up to the missing 3070.

Just verified that a new account has income of 500 gold (thanks to @Snooj ):
If you earn 36,200 - 33,130 from kingdoms - 2030 from delves = 1040 left over (which doesn’t match the 1030 I expected from my calculation)
Subtracting 500 base, leaves 540. Interesting part here is that 540/27 = 20, or 20 base income from each faction. When the new faction is released in 2 weeks, we can further test this with a before/after. However, if this 20/faction exists, I wonder why my calculation yields 1030 instead of 1040, but I could’ve easily missed 10 somewhere.

You get +5 gold/day at various points when progressing through faction quests.

Collected 20 tributes over the last 24-25 hours for a total of 283 gems, or 14.15 gems per tribute.
I turned those notifications on and have been trying to collect at least 10 tributes/day. it scores an average of 90 gems a day and that means almost 700 gems for week! that is a huge amount of gems for me and i’m just getting into the tribute boosting

Mithran confirmed a while back that there is a hidden 20 gold per day per faction. I’ll track down the link, because it’s a stupendous bit of investigative work.

Too much to read about missing gold. But if it helps. I’m not getting an additional +1000 gold a day now from now Shentang. But 408 more instead according to my hourly rate.
@CrzBoarder should see the same result if they upgrade Shentang to 15 Stars today.
I believe these are listed cumulative? So power level 8 gives you +600 gold/day, power level is +1000 gold/day, which is an additional 400 gold/day.
