There are so many classes just not worth using. Look at classes like diabolist or knight. Isn’t it time to give them better skills?

Especially confusing is how most level 70 talents are better than the 100s.
Further to that add in all the non sensical talents rewarding other races benefits.

But not for joke - it’s not 80% useless, its about 40, but from time to time - someone just to lazy to look at them and put something other than elementalist to a team
medal classes, it makes my autism twitch not seeing hero styled the same as the other troops. seeing the gold medal decoration on hero would scratch my brain nicely
its definitely higher than 40%. There’s 38 Kingdoms and there’s no shot I’m using 19 of those classes for 50% usage. Even the ones I do use sometimes, a majority of them I wish was a little stronger/had more synergies (like Archmagus starting with a Purple Storm)

That’s the classes i use in different modes often - it’s 18, so almost half. Others are used from time to time for a weekly events
BTW Archmagus have no purple storm - the only one who have with a 50% mana at a start is a thief
I know that, I said I wish Archmagus had a purple storm start.
One of the nice things about Gems of War is that it has a lot of options and some people will find more viable things than others. So, if that’s the list you like to use, cool.
Personally, some of those classes on the list, I wish had some changes (and some those classes, I don’t use).
My misunderstanding, sorry)
Class traits should say something like “allies of my race”, not “ally centaurs” or whatever. So, like if your hero were a centaur and one other ally was a centaur, the trait would count for both of you, so if that same trait was in another class, and that class made the hero a goblin, it would no longer count for centaurs, and would now count for goblins.
Hopefully they rework them to be even better than that, but the current system of having classes share trees, and having traits in those trees that don’t match that class, is weird and bad.
Not that my comment matters, but…
Much like Sunspear and Stormcaller, there should be other classes that have “Create an xx storm when my turn begins.” Imo, these should be: Archmagus for
, Warden for
, Knight for
, and Tidecaller for
. (I’m just trying to replace the horrible final traits, except for Archmagus, with much better ones).
The talents (especially the level 100 ones, besides fortitude, fire blade, and assassinate, need massive revisions). Trusting the devs with that is…oh boy…well…Houston, I think we’re going to have some problems.![]()
To be clear, I don’t want elementalist nerfed. I just want decent balance. The problem is that I have no confidence we’ll actually get that, and I suspect the closest we’d get is a small nerf to elementalist and buffs to everything else, but that’s unlikely.
