That might explain a few things…
I don’t see anything in this article hinting towards a whole company sale (unless you consider the mentioned mass releases a few months ago a sign to raise the company value for upcoming negitiations). Selling off a different IP will have little influence on GOW.

It is a game called Control, Remedy is just taking full control of the IP by paying back the publisher. It has nothing to do with companies buying other companies. It’s basically just them paying off a loan.

On top only staff in Spain, France and Germany was let go. GoW HQs are in Australia. Not Austria, not Italy, not even Europe …
