What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened: Level 1818 player, played 8+ years so far. Purchased Tier VI in WE per usual, played through all sigils on 1st day of event per usual procedure, should have similar scores to the others in my guild who do the same, that is: 9500-11000+, instead, my score is 3860.
**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening? began yesterday with the New Guild event (world event) roll-over. At least one other guild member has experienced the same issue (but I don’t know which platform she uses).
Steps to make it happen again
I’ve done 2 battles this morning. The battle rewards are super low still today.
I also submitted a ticket, but it was closed within 8 hours with NOTHING said or done about this problem.
Updated 07/22/2026 8:32 a.m. CST(USA): 2nd ticket submitted Tuesday morning because Monday night ticket was closed out without a word some time in the 8 hours after I subbed the 1st one, 2nd ticket also closed within 24 hours, also without comment or email correspondence other than Jeto asking me via email yesterday sometime if I had submitted 2 tickets using a different email for each ticket, on this issue. (We have an email for our Steam Account and I sent the first ticket using my GOW email account email. Sent Second one using the Steam Email account (sent after Infinity closed the 1st ticket with no response and using the GOW account information for my affected account - only email was different.)
So, no word from INfinity, 2 closed tickets, and my Scoring issue is still not resolved let alone acknowledged. Still getting only 3 point increase as I plow through my sigils, and am now behind my Tier III purchase players who haven’t yet played for today, even though I have exhausted my Tier VI sigil stash including today’s. Dissapointing to say the least that those who profit off of my level 19 game purchases with real cash don’t appear to care that there’s a glitch in my account somewhere that is impacting my guild event score. Hopefully it’s a one-off this week only thing (fingers crossed) as I am Guild Master, and always in the top 1-5 in our event scoring, making this even more frustrating as I am currently in the bottom 10 instead of where I should be.)
Just to clarify, you did fight the Abynissia battle every time it popped up, right? Event scoring is always complicated, and based on a lot of RNG, but this time the best scoring enemy team appears every 5th battle and if you don’t do it, it vanishes, so you’ll get lower scores. So, while I assume you did, best to confirm so they can’t say you just scored less.
That isn’t what happened either. I’ve been playing over 8 years, not ever done that before. The gap is growing wider between those that are seeing the increase in rewards as per normal and my score even though we are all using same number of sigils and choosing hardest and highest level battles to fight.
i resubmitted a ticket again this morning and have heard from Jeto (thank You! no resolution or explanation (yet) but at least acknowledgement, which is appreciated!).
Not sure what everyone else is seeing for battle scores but today my level 136 Abynissia battle netted 41 Fire Rubies. My Level 282 Infernal King battle just 63.
5 (five) players in my guild are confirmed Tier VI purchasers for this event and have played all their sigil battles for the event. (2 are at a much higher thankfully, will hopefully make up for whatever’s going on with my score). Each of those other Tier VI players are at over 13k score after todays’ play with 3 of them at 13,144 and one each at 13,412 and 13,040. This is the range I should be in also, but instead, I have 4,640 after playing all sigils today but 1. Odd and a bit frustrating.
Omg, I got it figured out, not ‘why’ but what is going on! My battle rewards are increasing by only 3 for each difficulty increase. I snapped photos, sharing. (
Those numbers look right to me but I think your missing a Bappy battle. Rewards increase by 25% of base. Bappy goes up by 2 then 3 as should be 2.5, King is 3 which is correct. Abby has gone up by 3, should be 3.75 so the next 3 should go up by 4.
Do not submit multiple tickets. Also in future if you have submitted a ticket to me, there is no need to then also go an post in the forum, I will reply when I can. There is a 3-5 business day reply period on tickets.
I’m closing your ticket, now there is this thread.
Sharing verification of my Tier VI purchase, and todays’ sigil battle results. My Tier VI GM who has used hers today also has 19,104 points, my score is 7,936 after using mine up. Hoping that the additional info may provide a clue to this issue’s origin.
Wondering, does this just sometimes happen as a one-off thing? Also very thankful that everything else seems to be working in the game okay for me
@KrazyKat there is nothing needed further that you need to share.
We found the issue and I am waiting to hear back from the team about what could be done for your account to fix this in the meantime (if that’s even possible), till an actual fix releases. If it cannot get resolved, I will chase up some comp for you
Any chance you could share more details about cause and effect? I could imagine guild members possibly getting into trouble for appearing to be slacking, so it would be helpful to understand what is going on.
Okay, so I am still catching up cos I was off again yesterday - but there isn’t a bug and the Production team mention that also no changes around this have gone out. Guess also as no one else has reported any issues as well
What was passed on to me (to paraphrase)
The scaling does not apply to the previous value, it’s applied to the base. Which since being implemented in 2020, has not been changed or touched.
[We] also checked the event data and can confirm that each battle scales by 25%.
In the meantime, what I am chasing up is that I can see you event data that completed 86 battles, and your score was 8,847 but then your event score in the leaderboard was 15,168 - so I need a dev to confirm why I am seeing two different scores.
Players who have less battles but a higher score likely defeated more Legendary troops than you did, if you always targeted Mythic troops.
