[Investigating] Terror caused two cards to overlay

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
I expect terror will swap positions of two cards but actually it moved the 1st slot to 3rd and 3rd to 2nd causing two cards on top of each other in the 2nd slot

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
Happened today in journey battle

Steps to make it happen again
I guess play a journey game and let terror proc in your team

There are two troops in the 2nd slot. Mistralus is in the back and the Pathfinder is on top.

  1. do you play on 4x speed?
  2. does it resolve at any point?
  3. can you click on slot 1 at all as though the troop was there?
  4. has it just happened once?

I’ll keep an eye out for further reports, hopefully it is just a weird one off.

In my experience, I usually see this happening on the enemy team, however just earlier this week I captured it happening on my team. (I still won the battle, but weird.)

My team formation prior to the bug:

  • Guardian of the Fields (Terror)
  • Artema (Terror)
  • Hero
  • Oneiros

After the bug:

  • (empty)
  • Hero (overlapping Artema (Terror); functionally just Hero)
  • Guardian of the Fields (Terror)
  • Oneiros

The observations are plain:

  • None of my affected Troops were in last position to actually flee from Terror.
  • Guardian of the Fields was shuffled down TWO spots, not one
  • Clicking on my slot #2 inconsistently pops up either Artema or Hero.
  • Skull damage and spellcasts indicate Artema is non-present for the remainder of battle.
