Friend recently shared a screenshot with me of my PvP bracket (by way of saying hi)….only problem is that it’s NOT my bracket. Here’s the two screenshots combined. My name is in blue in my actual bracket.
(Note: the slight score difference is because I had played some matches between the two screenshots, but it’s definitely me and definitely both from this week.)
Will I be getting rewards for both brackets? Seems awfully unfair to any players that might finish below me in my bonus bracket.
What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
I expected to find my account playing in only one PvP bracket.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
First time I’ve got actual evidence, but it sure would explain why we used to sometimes get rewards we didn’t earn in the past before that “bug” was fixed.
This is working as intended by the devs. We are all in more than the one bracket that we actually see and we do not know how many we are actually in during the week.
For example, say you are #2 on your ladder at the end of the week. It could well be that the #1 you can see on your ladder actually gets his reward from a different ladder thereby placing you on the #1 reward !
Go figure.
It happened to me so it is definitely a thing.
Pvp bubbles are random and you are not supposed to have it similar on other players, no bug here. Even tho I’ve had many players repetitive to my guild mates, they never was at my bubble.
I agree. I’ve long suspected something like this. It’s just the first time I’ve had actual evidence. My concern, however, is that now that they’ve “fixed” things so that our rewards at the end of the week more accurately reflect how we finish in our genuine brackets….does that mean that whoever might finish in 4th place behind me in my ghost bracket has been denied their just rewards?
Maybe they’ll be pushed to play more in an effort to overtake my ghost account than they otherwise would have needed to achieve the same rewards. It all just feels very manipulative to me.
That was supposed to have happened the last time they attempted to fix it. I personally haven’t received any rewards for finishing near top 3 like I have before, so I assumed the fix worked.
