What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
The yellow capstone on the Astral Spire has 2 issues.
1 - This is the same as a problem with the purple capstone that was already reported and fixed: it takes effect for people who haven’t activated the capstone yet.
2 - The other problem is that it purports to give a 20% chance to dispel all enemies at the start of the PLAYER’s turn, but when it activates it’s at the start of the ENEMY’s turn. In the posted video, the player hits the Boss, causing it to submerge itself. Later, the player takes a vertical blue 3-match, ending their turn. Then at the start of the enemy’s turn, the boss loses Submerge for no apparent reason - it didn’t cast.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
Started happening with introduction of Astral Spire. Seems to happen every time it activates (at 20% chance).
Steps to make it happen again
Do a battle where the enemy uses positive status effects, and wait for the yellow capstone to activate. It eventually activates even if you haven’t purchased the yellow capstone, and activates on the enemy’s turn rather than your own. A good place to see it is in a Raid boss battle, as the boss gains Submerge when damaged. Eventually the Submerge will disappear for no apparent reason.

It would be nice if there was some indicator when Astral Spire capstones take effect. For example, flash up some text saying “Expel Blessings” so it’s more apparent why the enemy got dispelled.

Be careful what you wish for.
Those “animated” effects would have a negative impact on Vault weekends because those animation times can slow things down. It’s why you never equip an Anu Medal when you are hunting for gnomes because the slight delay actually makes you miss out on about 1-2 battles worth of gnomes during a pallooza.

I was thinking just some text like when “Impervious” flashes up when hit by a status effect for example. No need for any animation slowing things down.

I get what you are trying to say, but I don’t trust the developers to handle things like that because the chances of a bug or problem being created is very high.
It’s why my account was recently suspended and my “Regular” title was removed. People can only be patient for so long, and I was emotional for many reasons. Closing the thread, “I’ve been punished for my play style,” is ignoring the fact that hundreds of accounts were probably negatively impacted from the 9.2 conversion. And people ask me about the unavailable Switch offers all the time because they do not like visiting the forums.
These forums are basically here so that we can report bugs and problems as free Beta-Testers. Sorry about all this, but I think I just need to let go…
