[Investigating] Dullahan works wrong

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
As description says, Dullahan can kill either friend or enemy, and summon Vargoille when an Enemy dies.

In practice, it summons Vargoile even if ally is killed by Dullahan’s ability. Seen it twice in one battle

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
I never tested it before, as it looks quite detrimentally. Got it accidentally, and seen it twice in one battle.

Steps to make it happen again

  • Use Dullahan’s ability
  • Wait until it kill the ally
  • Witness Vargoile summoning.

Just tested a team using Dullahan and three Fire Bombs. Did two battles – 6 sacrifices. Not once did a Fire Bomb dying cause a Vargouille to spawn.

Tried again with a different team: 2x Child of Summer, Ghost Queen, and Dullahan. Targeted first enemy. It died from Dullahan, then Dullahan killed my first ally. No Vargouille. Did it again – this time Dullahan again killed the targeted enemy, killed my second ally, and summoned a Vargouille (due to enemy dying).

I’m not seeing any instances of it summoning a Vargouille when my troops die, only when enemy troops die.

Hmm. Interesting. Can it be more complicated then I described it then? Full log of my actions:

  1. Used Elspeth, 2 bombots, elementalist hero with brown weapon against random team daily adventure.
  2. Charged one bombot and blown it, sacrificed hero for Dullahan, charged second bombot, killed everyone except troop on screen. (I don’t remember who is it).
  3. Used Dullahan to attack the enemy - he killed Elspeth and summoned Vargoile. ?? Used again - he killed Vargoile and summoned it again. Theoretically speaking, I could miss interaction the first time, because totally forgot about his killing mechanics. I think I am not, but I can mistake here. But the second time there wasn’t any other troops, so I couldn’t kill anyone else, so I have no idea how exactly it could be otherwise. Vargoile that is immune to killing damage? It’s even stranger than wrong Dullahan.
