I'd like a concrete reason why journey is being kept in its awful state

Journey Changes

We have made some changes to the 3 paths in Journey events, based on internal data review, and player feedback. Previously the Top Path would increase the enemy level by +1 and give 25 Miles. It will now no longer increase the enemy level, but will give 25 Miles. The Bottom Path would previously increase the enemy level by +2/+3/+4 and give 30/35/40 Miles. It will now increase enemy level by +1/+2/+3 and will give 35/45/55 Miles. The Boss Path that only appears every 5 battles, previously would increase the enemy level by +6, and give 75 Miles. It will now increase enemy level by +5, and will now give 90 Miles.

These are the changes that happened in May.
