I don't like the GW point system

First let me say, I understand your point and did not read your post with any anger in the tone. So in the spirit of sharing allow me to present the other side of the coin:

I think the “magic” in GW for me is the fear it instills.
I mentioned this in the MM Discord chat, but will share here as well.
I went 5 for 5, and didn’t lose a single troop, BUT
It took me nearly an hour to complete those 5 battles!!

And I loved every heart pounding second of it!

It has been a looooooooooooooong time since, Ive had to think about my moves. Suddenly I was contemplating every match, reading the board, planning cascades, baiting the AI, it was brilliant. GW has brought back the “edge” of early game, where a wrong move can spell defeat. That is lightning in a bottle for me.
