I was playing this afternoon and the people in 2nd and 3rd place had scores of about 4k and 2k. This was several hours after weekly reset. Then maybe 30 or 40 minutes later I checked back and entirely different players were in those spots with scores under 1k. How is this supposed to work?

Some started with points but it was a bug thet got fixed so those players got their points (thet they didn’t earn this week) removed).
The others just played normally and moved up.
I guess that is what happened in your case.
