50k for me. Barely touched the season and im near level 1500.
Wanna know why devs?
Two words.
SILVER. MARKS.
If you ever want me to spend a cent on this game again you will remove them from burning chests. Contrary to what most greedy gacha devs will tell you you dont need a middle finger included in limited rewards.
Im sure im not alone in longtime players who are barely touching pvp due to how insulting the rewards are
340k for me. I went mad on week 1 to get rewards then did ust enough for gold marks after that. Next campaign im just gonna do gold marks only and get the free rewards
I’ve been meandering along all season doing the “bare minimum” as I view it.
My top priority was to get all the Gold Marks that a F2P player can get – i.e., 5 battles in a Citadel on those days and 5 battles in the “Gold Mark” bonus regions the following day. With Valhawks showing up the first three non-Citadel battles, I didn’t have to spend much time grinding in search of them, and I stopped hunting them (or spending those sigils) once I knocked out all of the Monolith-related tasks for the season.
I’m doing a little bit of extra hustling this week because I require ~30k VP to finish the “season task” gates for the free stuff; I’m only bothering because the last three “free” gates have Burning Souls and Immortal Souls and that’s worth some effort to me.
Otherwise, I’ve been content to do that “bare minimum” and to bounce between the top League and the one beneath it on a (mostly) weekly basis.
Sitting at just under 231k for the season. This completed the full season goal and everything beyond the final rank, which means I miss out on 45 Immortal Souls or less than half of a level of the Immortal…or, put otherwise, less than what I could get from a fortunate pull of a single burning chest.
To have hit the Praefect rank would have been an additional 144% worth of PvP grinding or roughly 2200 additional wins in Blood Frenzy regions. So even if those are, let’s say, a 90% win rate, that’s nearly 2500 additional PvP battles above and beyond what it takes to close literally everything else and in exchange, you get slightly less than a pretty good Burning Chest pull.
All that before the acknowledgement that you could complete the season objectives in far less than 231k. That would just further add to the surplus you’d need for a single goal of dubious quality.
I’ve been hitting lower and lower VP totals each season. I’m pretty sure I broke 150K last season, even though I forgot to buy the Legendary.
This season, I’m under 150K and will have to intentionally grind extra to reach it. I’m close enough that I’ll do it for the Legendary.
It doesn’t help that I can earn more gold marks if I drop from Diamond League every other week, and win 1st/2nd in Sapphire or whichever is it is. I personally don’t care about Immortals (I’ll never max them all so why bother chasing them?) and value gold marks way more than burning marks. The end result is averaging far lower VP every week.
Less than 420k. Like every season.
Every reward except the silly 560k one.
Why push myself for an extra 20 lmao.
Make the thing that takes the longest an extra 200, then il do it.
Till then, its a bakewell tart, with no cherry, i dont care . Keep the cherry.
Did the bare minimum to make sure I hit the majority of the season goals to get the rewards by the last week. But VP wise, I stopped at 176k as that’s all that you need to get the last free reward.
With 23,500 worth of tokens to dump on the last day to try and secure a promotion spot. I don’t know how I got over 300k, I didn’t think I played that much PvP.
This is also me, for every PVP season after the first.
Although I don’t have those gold mark bonuses, cause I’d rather have the 20% stat bonus.
And I can’t bounce between leagues cause the other people won’t let me
But yea, I need something like 30k VP to reach 176k for that last free reward and I’m done. Anything else is not worth it - rather go back to playing Guild Wars or Star Trek Online.
