Specifically to level through the Class Events? I remember it being somewhere in the 5,000s.

We’ll have to wait for another class event to roll around. This community’s not sophisticated enough to maintain a wiki.
Assuming you start without any XP:
You can buy champion lvl100 straight away for 5850 gems.
Or you can wait for a little to get the rewards from class events and complete 38+ fights with that class in PVP or event and as a result, pay only 5350 gems.
Or you can wait for a little more and get champion lvl100 without spending any gems.
