How do you play when the inevitable happens
i will typically hit a spot until i find a bird and then ill “reset” two other spots.Or do you just hit the same spot over and over because that’s always the highest scoring option?

I usually just fight the highest-level Lasher until it gets replaced by something better.
Annoying that this happens though; you pick your fights optimally –> you end up with an optimally-boring board.
I always go back and forth, the higher the level goes! The more points I get, actually!
actually, hitting the lowest level lasher will get you the increased score, its the number you have played not the level you fight.
I don’t see your point. As said in description
Each Storm Orb is worth 2 points. As the battles get harder, they will also increase the amount of Storm Orbs they give by 25%.
So to get a max score you need to beat the highest level (if you can ofc)
Of course, not.
If you have multiple similar battles on the field and you defeat one, scoring gets bumped for all of them while level changes only for the one you won. It is a well know quirk of the scoring system that’s been here since the very beginning. Everybody just finds it cumbersome to explain so nobody bothers.
Concerning official info - their knowledge of the game’s ins and outs are lacking occassionally, as has been evident from time to time.
The level doesn’t matter at all. You get the multiplier based on how many of a particular opponent type you’ve already defeated. So if you have a level 10 battle and a level 500 battle on the board, both of the same type, they are both worth the same. The game doesn’t show this in any way, level numbers just tend to be a good estimate to go by.
Thanks! Good to know! So there’s no ordinary weekly events where level of your opponents means something?
Ooof; so all this time I’ve been following the described rules and fighting harder fights than I need to.
3 battles in a row - 10,11,12 storm orbs without any level depends
The more you live the more you know)
it’s always been as I described - but just in case they changed somrthing, I tested it.
I did a lasher 90 - score 13; then a lasher 60 - score 14; then lasher 110 - score 15.
The increase is by how many battles of that type you have won, regardless of how hard the one you choose to play is.
Not that it matters at all if you end up playing them all, but incase some are left over they might as well be the toughest ones.
well it does in journey
