Bad enough that these nasty events have always centered on forcing players to play every single day or get penalized. Weekends, Christmas, who cares; can’t allow breaks during the holidays, right?
But yikes, they’ve gone and made this one even grinchier. We used to get a free copy of the event pet to let us hit 31, but even that crumb of generosity is gone. Now we’re expected to grind hundreds of blue kills to obtain what used to be a gift.
Not that I needed more proof that IP2/505 has zero respect for players or their time.

Is it possible to have a confirmation button for using golden holiday battles?
I accidentally clicked the golden button on my very first battle of this event, i know it’s just user error and my own clumsy fingers, but it feels bad to basically waste it.
I don’t buy them but using the free golden near the end sometimes helps nudge into the next reward.
Maybe someone else who uses more than the one free golden battle would have a better perspective on if a confirmation button would disrupt gameplay

The golden token gives the same 10 extra points no matter when you use it so you didn’t waste anything.

Usually, those 10 extra points won’t buy you anything. You can trade in the golden token for a gem key in two weeks.

But the battle itself will give you points, as well as the 10 extra. You’d need to see how many points you have at the end of the event, and whether or not you need to use the golden token, first. It might be enough to save you buying a pack of normal tokens to finish earning points towards a prize.

If you choose to keep grinding in-game rewards instead of taking that break or spending time with your family, that’s a “you” thing and not a “them” thing. Especially as there aren’t very many prizes you can gain by doing so that won’t be available later.
The developers are going to do what they view as “best” for them. It’s your responsibility to take those actions that are “best” for you and not to expect an external party to do it for you.

how long it takes for you to fight 3-6 battles?
