Hello lack of self awareness.
People want a troop or an achievement that has proven extremely difficult due to game mechanics. Theyâre allowed to be frustrated by that. Nobody is seeking your validation if they achieve it.
Thereâs a real odd tendancy on this forum to have an individual whose purpose seems to just go around and dismiss and derail feedback purely because they either donât understand the issue, or they donât see it as one, so nobody should. I know this isnât your first.

8 hours a day. Well the trick is 9 hours a day. Thatll get the mimic. Iv proof

Theres also a tendancy. By a hell of a lot of people. To act like goldilocks.
You know, the porridge ti hot, the porridge to cold, the bed to lumpy, the analogy if you dont understand is, the troops to op, the troops not good, the troops got bad traits. See lits of goldilocks on here.
There is no way it came in 2019. I started playing in 2021 and it definitely came after I started playing. When I started we just had nexus kingdom pass.

"The Hoard Mimic was added to Gems of War on March 9, 2022, as part of the 6.2 Update: The Secret Hoard. It is a rare Mythic troop that can appear after defeating a Mimic in a Boss Chest battle, primarily during Explore mode. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
- Update: 6.2 (âThe Secret Hoardâ)
- Release Date: March 9, 2022
- Context: Added alongside the Adventurerâs Path feature.
- How to Find: Dropped from Hoard Mimic battles, which are triggered randomly after defeating a regular Mimic in Explore mode. [1, 2, 3]
The troop is considered very rare, and many players reported significant grinding to obtain it after its release in early 2022."

Ayy congrats. That is the dream right there. On the other side of things Iâve gotten only 2 regular mimic battles after roughly 120 boss chests in the past 3 days. Thinking about quitting the game again. I truly wish I didnt care about achievements but I do and need it done.
Devs, how much money do you want to increase the drop rate? Haha

Hoard mimics is something I have asked about for 9.3, but wonât have any info on that till closer to that update

There are so many things they could do like adding them to the treasure vault, putting them in the forge for an obscene amount of resources or just increasing the mimic spawn rate or making the card a 50% drop in a Horde Mimic battle. Even if it was in the forge for 10,000 gems and 20,000 diamonds I wouldnât care because itâs better than the current system.
I put roughly 450 hours into explore trying to get one and Iâm no closer to it today than when I first started. It was so frustrating, it alone is the reason my playtime has been cut by 95%.

All troops should be in the Soulforge sooner or later. Not even all the time, but they should appear there. I already have several copies of the Horde Mimic, but grinding for something for ages without getting it is really depressing. Similar to Sentinels. Since Underspire was added, I spent between 200.000 and 220.000 gems there to find all 6 troops but still donât have all of them. Despite being rewarded other stuff, itâs quite the same disappointment for those that try to catchâem all. No matter if it âjustâ costs time or also resources. This shouldnât be happening.
