Hero level mythic status

does anybody have a definitive answer about hero level specifically when does the hero achieve mythic status

My hero went mythic when I went above 500 (maybe it was 501?). No screenshot handy, but I am still below level 600.

thanks everyone my hero went mythic at 505 or at least that’s when i noticed it

You started at level 1, and you need to level up 500 times, hence 501 levels.
