What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened?
That troops on both sides do what they were suppose to & inflict what their traits say they do!
My Death has Death Mark with Skulls unlocked, I GOT HIT BY MY OWN ABILITY FOR HITTING A TROOP WITH SKULLS! And my 4th card is target by a SINGULAR attack, that attack places death mark on the troop hit, My fourth card was inflicted with Death mark instead!

What are the steps to make it happen again?
play the game in Guild Wars.

THESE BUGS ARE ENSURING I LOSE ALL THE DAMN TIME! Sometimes even if I win, I get the “DEFEAT” message!

I just could “clearly” hear the frustration in your OP and it made me lol.

I don’t know if I have any answers that all seems pretty buggy, for sure. I would submit a ticket and let them know what’s happening.

I am not sure i understand what you are trying to say. Death doesn’t deathmark on skull hits.

so exactly what should have happened, did happen?
Not trying to be an asshat here, and not trying to belittle possible actual bugs in the game, but i honestly don’t understand what your problem is and i doubt the Devs will either.

Random guess, but did the opponent team have a Kraken on it?
