Hi Jetto. These are the same suggestions that were given after the last wars. I am listing them again as not 1 were implemented. Like so many we were very excited to have Guild Wars return. Here is our list of ideas for Guild Wars adjustments.
Limit defense troops to 1 of each card. (No 3 Stellas, 3 Taks, etc on a team) Or pose a point reduction for doing so similar to the previous guild wars.
Provide in match data to show where we are at on bonuses points, and also allow us to view them post match. Currently the bonuses appear and then they are gone just as fast post battle.
Post clear notes on what troops change. Wand and Stella we know but will the new floral dragon change? Are there other planned transformations? It would be helpful to know.
Allow players to set defenses any day of the week. But once itâs selected itâs locked in.
You donât need 30 to play just 30 to set defenses at some point of the week.
Allow the GM to move and adjust who goes where on defense. Yes this might mean they had to readjust their defense based on restrictions. Why would you want a player who is the lowest level in your guild to choose the palace? Yet they do each time.
Gates battles should scale to Players level. Players just fight the gate multiple times for the reward tracks because they are easy wins, but in turn hurt the entire guild scoring. Its like you have two competing forces here. I get that new players will like the gate battle, but those players should be facing easier guilds too.
Add medal tokens in rewards to Guild Wars and also in PvP (since they are the same mode and tied together). No one has the time to explore like they used to because of PvP and our medal counts prove that.
27 players are needed for defense, but 30 are needed for offense. That makes no sense. Either drop top 3 scores of offense like guild wars was before. This makes it 27 for both offense or defense, or let us put 3 players on the gate so itâs 30 for offense and defense.
Let us see our players scores on offense so we need to know who to help, or who is fighting the gate 2-5 times. And of course who is not playing if that happens to be the case.
Let us see how our defenses are performing via their records, and the scores the opponents are putting up against them.
Classes should be locked to the kingdom or the type restriction. Otherwise its Elementalist for every offense and defense.
Automatically put the cursor on the next level of fights after a victory, and also add a warning if you are going to the battle area you already beat. Sometimes sets make it worth doing this but other times it happens by mistake.

New suggestions for this month
A player set his defense then dropped to a lower guild, yet his defense stuck to our keep in the higher guild . That is kind of funny but kind of scary at the same time. So now we are at 27/30 defenses set with 4 people not having to set a defense.

Unbelievable. Eritnais Falcons is not in the top 50. Probably not in the top 500 or 5000. Unforgiven faced 5 gate battles taking the left path because not 1 person had a defense set. So the #1 ranked guild gets that draw? That doesnât sound like a good ranking system. Transparency please.
If your going to delay the next guild Wars to take into consideration our suggestions then please implement a suggestion or two

Agreed with all the suggestions but especially this one. Make it clear in-game.
I made my team last minute last night because I didnât realize GW was this week, and was kindly reminded by my guild before time was up. I forgot about the replacements so now my defense team is using a bad weapon. Oh well I guess.
While on this subject, monthly reminder that this was said to be a temporary change. Itâs been 11 months now. While temporary can be any length of time depending on the context, it doesnât really feel temporary when we havenât heard anything about plans to balance Stellarix or WoS.
I am starting to think that Guild Wars was not broke by the new PvP system. I think they kept it away for a year to promote their new shiny item. Can we load a previous version from letâs say November 2023 if it truly was broken by PvP (which I highly find suspect at this point)
Iâm forced to use Divinion Fields troops for Attack (one of the weakest bunch of troops in the game, esp. if you donât have many mythics) but somehow the defending teams can use whatever they want?? And weâre supposed to have any chance with this? Why bother?
Please fix the old guild wars achievements. It should not take months to make simple changes to the code that triggers the achievements.
There are 3 that have been unobtainable for over a year and half now.

They couldâve been changed to regular PvP achievements or they couldâve been implemented when the new guild wars released. Now we are on month 2 of the new version, and nothing.
Just so it is clear, after GW released and even before, we are already developing the next update.
For 8.5 the focus was the start of the game as well as clearing what bugs we could (not as many as I hoped but it was a short gap between development and then submitting for going live).
That is not to say that this feedback isnât being gathered and shared! It very much is.
But like all feedback, it gets shared and then it is worked into
the next updates, if possible. Depending how soon they are
planned for a future update
As we had shared before the new GW was released, updating and adding content to GW is an ongoing project. Itâs not, here is itâs release and then one update change later.
So things will be implemented over time.
I noticed in the ingame help system that GW attack restrictions can be troop type, color, or kingdom restrictions. So far thereâs been two back-to-back kingdom restrictions (awful troop selections for both going against meta defenses). Are future GW going to alternate between these restrictions?
I had a bug today that forced me to redo the 2-star room because I couldnât do the 3-star room, which prevented me from fighting the Palace!
So, this GW is completely RUBBISH!!! And whatâs more, I canât buy the medallion!

Please reach out if something like this happens, where your can select a location or button no matter what direction you press - cos we may have troubleshooting we can share to fix it, so you donât have to lose out on a battle.

We havenât been able to reproduce what you experienced on our own personal PlayStations, but we are aware there is some jankiness with using a controller in the GW map which is something we are working on.
As in, we could get to the Warriors Tower but only after moving around a lot.
If it happens again, let us know and maybe exit and reopen GW or restart the game.
Itâs great to see that youâre aware that there are problems like this, but nothing is being fixed!
Plus, I see myself being punished for something I didnât want! Honestly, it would have been cool if I could have had my last fight, but no!
