Guild wars, bring back brackets to bring fairness to the event

I know, it’s been brought up many times and it’s about as bad as talking to a brick wall.
Guild wars is not a fair event for any guild at all.
Top guilds facing very low ranking guilds and receive little points, as well as the lower ranked guild having no chance at rewards all weekend.
Yeah, of course they’re easy wins for top guilds.
But every day i look forward to an even match up to possibly get some points to have a chance to take back first but yet we get a rank 7, 10, 22, 32.
I know we’d all like to implement some sort of fairness.
What are all your thoughts on the ELO ranking system.

How was the match ups this weekend for all of you and how’s the leaderboards look on the other platforms?

Thanks for reading and as always have fun,

It’s tough to make any progress on the leaderboard when matchmaking feels like a total crapshoot. If a guild that is ahead of you gets paired with two top guilds in the same Guild Wars week and beats them both, and you are matched with lower level guilds, forget about it - you’re looking at months of clawing your way back up, with plenty of matchmaking luck along the way. That said, looking at the game as it is now, half of the top 20 guilds on PS aren’t even at full capacity. If brackets came back and everyone had to face guilds at their own level, with no “easier” days, I also wonder how many people would quit out of frustration over inevitable battle losses. Personally, I enjoy tough competition in Guild Wars. It is hard to satisfy all the players - the devs have their work cut out for them.
