Second the flower dragon, Chrys to be specific. For Dago at least we have boss killers but once Chrys is filled, you are basically dead (maybe deluge sometimes helps a little bit)
For defenders specifically, not for attackers. Attackers often end up with terrible enough choices for troops, based on what restriction we have. We don’t need more restrictions. But defenders can do with class restrictions.
I’d like this restriction to be across all of PvP and not just in Guild Wars. The only thing I find more aggravating than Elementalist spam in the outer PvP regions where the restrictions aren’t “Nexus” or “Elemental” are the regions where we get Mana Potion gems. I simply won’t play against either.
But I also expect the chances that this will get implemented to be smaller than the chances that I’ll win the Lottery (which I don’t buy tickets for) or date a supermodel.

On the contrary elementalist is your only chance when you are given crap for your troops when ai gets THREE takshaka.
If “Elementalist is your only chance”, that’s a pretty alarming indicator of poor game design and balance. One class should never be an “E-Z button” and a default choice but far too often it is.
I’ll bet that if you did a bar graph of class usage in this game, most classes would cluster at near-zero usage, a few would have decent numbers, and Elementalist would probably be more than the next handful of classes combined.
As much as I hate it, as much as I try to avoid using it (and won’t use it in PvP’s outer rings unless it’s Nexus/Elemental), and avoid playing certain game modes or PvP locations where I do have it deployed, my Elementalist class XP is three times my second-higest class and greater than the classes ranked 2-5 combined.
It would be very helpful to restrict Elementalist. Alternately, to re-balance things so that other classes are viable and Elementalist isn’t left as a default choice to remain competitive.
I had the biggest trouble with a defense with Goblin Team in Thief class this GW. So the Class isn’t the main problem imo.
It would be nice if only two troops of the same kind would be allowed in defense; the 3x Takshakas and similar builds are annoying because sooooooo based on luck.
And yes: it makes no sense to forbid Stella and give Chrys a Go.
to be honest i really only take issue with classes being placed where they shouldnt fit.
if a dragon or tak fits the requirement then fair enough.
It is poor game balance.
You try to go use another class against 3 takshaka or a Chrysantherax team when you are kingdom restricted
Just because the other classes are severely outdated doesnt mean elementalist needs a nerf. Devs need to get off their butts and update other classes.
