I assume he is not going to be in event chests for wild plains this week? Not trying to waste all my event keys if possible.

No. All Mythic and Legendary troops that were in the PvP shop can only be gotten from the soulforge. They cannot be gotten with event keys, or any other keys–they are exclusively locked in the soulforge.
Time and time again, we have requested that troops like these should have an indication somewhere, that they cannot be obtained by normal means. But they will refuse to add this QOL because they want people to be confused and waste resources.
Very unprofessional.

we are literally looking at adding an unlock search pop up for troops, so you can find exactly where to earn them.. in 9.4

I guess I shouldn’t ask if the sentinels will ever be available anywhere else except under spire

Well those are specific to the Underspire, so yes they are only available in there.
And would rather work on making other older limited troops more accessible before circling back to the Underspire Treasure Guardians.

That I don’t understand. Underspire Treasure Guardians are basically the least accessible troops in the game. Can’t even craft them unlike the seasonal Imps.

that is only my personal thought, especially all the feedback existing around tarot troops.. not that that is what is happening or planned to happen

At least Vault Keys can be spammed pretty hard and Vault Events happen once a month, even though it’s probably not the healthiest game loop.
Underspire Treasure Guardians have limited chances per week (and it’s not many chances) that can’t be increased through artificial means. I only have 9 Sentinels since their release in October 25, 2023 and there’s 6 different Sentinels. I’m fortunate enough to have all 6, but that doesn’t make the process any better.
Can’t even throw money at it to improve chances. 
I feel very strongly about this and the lack of availability. Everything about the Sentinel Troop Drop rate is stupid.

I know that you guys are busy and have future things planned for development. If we get improved features like more detailed information in-game in 9.4, that is great news! We have to rely so much on others and outside sources to confirm things and make sure that we are not wasting time and resources.
And yes. Underspire has better rewards (it even got updated with crystals, shiny dust, and starstones), but the Sentinel drop rate remained the same. This was a bad oversight. On average, a measly 1.5% chance (with about 12-20 chances), per week can be a slow, and frustrating process. Adding them in the soulforge for the same price as a Mythic might be adequate, and would be the easiest solution, but that would require time and resources. Maybe next year?

Sentinels are a sick joke. 6 dragons 2 blue. A shambles they could have made them craftable or put em in event keys at least
I play Underspire every week since release. Always unlock and complete all Boss fights…full map explore about 1/4 of the time.
I have 15 Treasure Guardian/Sentinel copies and still have not hit Draconic. 
Maybe a simple IF/THEN setup for these hard RNG series troops…? IF Player has >/= 4 copies of the RNG rolled troop; THEN - roll again.
