Last vault weekend (25 - 27th of september) was quite something different.
I fought more than 10 dragonite gnomes, each one gave me 1 (one!) dragonite.
Diamond rewards also were really low. Consistently I got 2 diamonds, I don’t think I got more than that.
Above is true for me, for gnome a pallooza active, regular fights might have slightly bigger payout but overall a huge decrease in comparison to what was there in previous events.
Rest of rewards I couldn’t be bothered so no opinion.
I think that such change also transferred into vault battles (using keys). Now I consistently get 2 diamons as reward.
Is this a bug or some intended change that happend?
Most rewards from gnome drops are severely reduced during an ongoing GaP under most all circumstances. This change was made almost immediately after the update when they first appeared.
I play vault weekends consistently, I didn’t miss a single event in last 13-14 months. This valut weekend was by far THE WORST in terms of rewards I got from it. I got on event from 250 to almost 600 regular vault keys, and variable number of evk’s. And rewards - noted, lower a bit during vault weekend than outside of it - were more spread out and varied.
My point is, now it seems its even more nerfed.
I noticed during the week after event, that regular opening of keys seem to give me rewards far less compelling than usual.
Imo there was a change, during this last event for worse in terms of rewards. And this imo spilled over for regular vault keys openings.
10+ dragonite gnomes, each one giving 1 dragonite? … Come on, I can’t be the only one who noticed that.
