Apparently you can go to the options and deselect the option to get notifications. You’ll still be connected, but it’s easier to ignore, if that helps.

Yes it is there but it could not be selected when I tried to turn it off.
Deselect notification removes that little green ! , but every message from alliance channel still pops out from the right side of chat icon. So still very distracting and annoying. Disconnect is the only way to solve that, just like ability to disconnect from global channel.

@Risa you can also try unchecking this box “Show Messages on World Map” which is a work around to stop the messages from the Alliance chat from popping up.

Thanks. But I’d like to read messages from guild chat as soon as possible. Guess I have to disable it for the moment.

Yeah, same as Risa here. We can disconnect from global chat to silence it completely. I would like to do the same for alliance chat.
