[Fixed] PvP restrictions in outer regions reverted to "none"

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:

I finished a battle in a frenzy zone, in broken lands. I exited to the map, checked how many ravens I have left to get, wanted to go back to broken lands to continue playing - and I couldn’t, because suddenly restriction turned to “none”, my attack team was erased and I can’t pick a new one, because the game shows zero troops eligible. Restart didn’t help, now I’m stuck.

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?

Steps to make it happen again

Uncertain (except attempting to play PvP), restarting the game didn’t restore the restrictions; on my main account on PC outer region restrictions are still there as they should (for now, at least…)

Same thing on iOS in two areas, Maraji Expanse and Broken Lands (Blood Frenzy)
Restarted and they were working again.
This prior to reset at 08.00 Wednesday UK

Hah. That’s interesting.

Before the thing above happened, the daily blood frenzy was in Broken Lands (daemon) and Summer Isle (Shentang).

Directly after the reverting to none, I saw “none” in all outer regions. Now I see some restrictions are back - but blood frenzy regions are now in Summer Isle (mystic) and Broken Lands (none), a few other restrictions in outer regions came back, but they are different than they were before it happened. Maraji Expanse has (none), but Ancient Kneht is still undead, as it was before.

The PC account also shows Summer Isle (mystic) now, which was Shentang, so that account is affected as well, just differently.

EDIT (all changes, after 2 more restarts):

Summer Isle is now Mystic (was Shentang)
Bay of Stars is now Divine (was Elf)
Winter’s Reach is now Elf (was Vulpacea)
Broken Lands is now Tauros (was Daemon)
Maraji Expanse is now Raksha (was Drifting Sands)
Ancient Kneht stayed as it was
Color-restrictions stayed.

What kind of wizardry is this? Why?

Changed for me also, 40-60mins prior to reset.

I believe they saw it went broken and they just restarted day anew, so we have this now

Because it’s now summer, so we have bugs aplenty.

But defense teams not changed
Bugs everywhere

Thank you for the screencaptures.

I’ve let the development team know about this issue and they’ve let me know that this is potentially to do with server connection issues.

If you haven’t already, please ensure that you have the latest version of Gems of War!

Also, closing and reopening Gems of War should fix this issue in the meantime.

Yeah, it did fix the issue ultimately (after about 15 minutes and 5 restarts), but the restrictions changed from what they were:

Summer Isle is now Mystic (was Shentang)
Bay of Stars is now Divine (was Elf)
Winter’s Reach is now Elf (was Vulpacea)
Broken Lands is now Tauros (was Daemon)
Maraji Expanse is now Raksha (was Drifting Sands)
Ancient Kneht stayed as it was
Color-restrictions stayed.

Ok dragons in Winter’s Reach disappeared
After 1 gem cost reroll :wink:
otherwise the dragons will remain until the end of the week (I guess)
I think it’s not that expensive to spend one gem

to the developers: please don’t try to fix it, it will be an even bigger mess :grinning:
