Perk ‘Empowered portal’ promises 15% skill bonus, but it gives only 3%
Example: 33 magic skill before, 34 magic skill after.

I honestly couldn’t tell what’s considered a bug and what’s not considered a bug with the Empowered Portal Astral Spire node. I don’t know what the rules are for calculating stats on a summon troop.
I can show some examples about the stat oddities though..

This lack of stats thing isn’t the only issue I’ve run into with Empowered Portal.
There’s also a bug when I’m supposed to get troop hero reduction but it doesn’t actually work.

I’m also not sure the perks are all working correctly. I had 99 damage to all enemies on my Orchidius. When I bought the +1 magic to all blue troops perk in the astral spire, I was really excited to see it go to 100. But the spell still does 99 damage. What’s happening here?
I just got this perk today and tried it out. First of all I had a team with Drake Rider, Drake and Black Beast. I had Black Beast devour Drake Rider and the summoned Drake actually had lower stats than the one already on the team.
Thinking it might be a quirk of summoning using a trait, rather than a spell, I tried another test. This time I had Copycat summon a Drake. Again, the summoned troop has lower stats. Video attached:
The summoned Drake has 15 lower armour, 19 lower life and 10 lower attack than the one already on the team. I don’t know if there are a bunch of team bonuses applied only to the starting lineup and not summons, but you’d think a 15% skill boost would at least bring it in as high as the starting troop.
@Jeto This is another seemingly easily fixed issue that’s been around quite a while now. Is there any chance we’ll see a fix in 9.4?
It’s still listed as investigating, because the reports had been so mixed and not consistent
That being said, I think the issue is Empowered is applying to troops that dont already have any bonuses
Here are a few example of base stats from my troop collection, and then after summoned into a battle:
versus yellow troops that are only getting the other yellow board bonuses, are not getting the empowered bonus
In the video I posted, you can see the summoned troop isn’t merely lacking a 15% boost, it’s significantly weaker than its duplicate already on the team.
