I think it shows just how much regard this company has for its customers that they leave a severe bug hanging with no one available to address it until, what, tomorrow when they get back?
It’s amazing how long it takes them to react, considering that the bug makes it impossible to take advantage of the irresistibly cheap purchase offer. Anyone who finds the sarcasm can keep it for free for the 10th anniversary.
And here I was thinking “OK, they haven’t fixed known bugs, but at least there weren’t new critical ones with the update”
Also, we might have seen this coming, as we were given infamous 50 gems along with the Amira troop
What I want to know is… who is this CLIFFY person and are they being paid every time that thing pops up?

I got stuck reloading my game. Cliffy error 15 times in a row…
its back why dont the DEVS fix this annoying error i had it 6x now and its super annoying , Devs want more money but they refused to fix an error that we get all the time. I am in windows 10 on steam on my PC . FIX IT
I’m having it too. Can’t even report it through the game cause it restarts.
Seems to happen with that add.
My humble prediction is that this will be completely ignored until it times out.
This bug will be around for the month. I had no Cliffy as the troop is still on my mail but expect it to appear when I collect so currently it’s just when you want the pain.
collect it and it will be gone in 24 hours or daily reset

Even completely upgrading the troop, all traits, ascension and lv 20, I’m still getting it’s “Special Offer” and the Cliffy Error. Incredible that the system doesn’t even recognize the offer is useless.
Hi all, very sorry for the delay in picking up this bug report, it is a public holiday here today. I’ve flagged down a programmer who is looking into this now.

I’ll keep an eye out for any updates about the issue to share with you all today before the full team is back at the office tomorrow.
6x? In a minute or what? I’ve had that error more than 100x already …
FWIW, that workaround does not work for me (on Android and on Steam); clicking outside the CLIFFY dialog dismisses the dialog, but the game does still immediately restart anyway.
(on edit, esslee mentioned iPad, so maybe whether this avoids a restart is platform-specific and I’m unlucky on my platforms…)
