[Fixed?] Adventure Progress Broken

Android, OnePlus 8 IN2015 and Android version 12 (Oxygen OS)

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
Continuing the storyline (Adventure) in the Broken Spire, when I tap on “Adventure”, all I get is a still image of a fiery landscape with fireballs in the background. There is no animation, no text, and no way to proceed from there. The game doesn’t freeze up. If I use my “back” gesture, I can get back to the main screen.

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
This is happening all the time. I have uninstalled, removed all game data from my device and reinstalled from scratch. It’s still happening.

Steps to make it happen again
Open the “Adventurer’s Path”, tap on “Adventure”.

I went back in to the “Broken Spire” area and completed some Challenges. Now when I try to continue the storyline I see the inside of a tavern. But again, there is no text, animation or controls visible and I’m still stuck.

Looks like it’s fixed. I had to click on the next part of the map. The game didn’t automatically advance me (as it should).
