This happens in one of my journey battle. As you can see, Immortal Titanius in enemy team is extremely weak, due to immortal troops level up differently than all other troops. I’d say immortal troops shouldn’t appear in any opponent team in all PvE environment.

Kind of a similar issue, when you summon an Immortal, it comes in at level 20, which is the maximum level for a regular troop.
One would expect it to come in at level 30, or at the level of the summoner’s Magic, whichever is lower. That would be more consistent IMO.
I tested this by having Mydnight King summon Immortal Ossifer. I have Ossifer at level 4, although that shouldn’t matter.
