I just had something interesting happen and it was fun to watch but made me wonder –
I entered the board with a
G G S G G
S S G S S
Swapped the middle S and G for TWO 5 matches.
However the hour glass counter only incremented by 1 - not 2 which is what I would have thought would have happened with the above two pair.
If you have multiple 5 matches during a turn it only adds 1 to the hour glass counter?
That’s right. Even if you get multiple ‘extra turns’ through cascades, the most your counter can increase is by 1.
The sound effect used to even repeatedly say “extra turn”. Like “extra, extra, ex, ex, extra turn”, but you only got 1.
Only one extra turn is awarded per cascade. So yes, it worked as it was supposed to.

While I can understand that in PVP and such, it really doesn’t seem to make sense in Treasure Map…
