Steps to make it happen again
As you can see in the screenshots, it wants me to do four adventure boards instead of one to complete the daily task. Also, my hero awards start at 1501 & I only got 50 gems & 7 keys (I see youtube videos of players around my level get hundreds of gems, keys, writs, etc

I had the exact same problem. Here is a screen grab. Note the “complete adventure board” daily task is set at “1/4”—I completed the day’s single adventure board and am now stuck. If it resets every day then I can never complete daily progress.

Same problem here. And I do want those 15 minutes of double XP.
