Is this the first time you have opened an Epic vault key or? This is usual what you get from them, something you don’t need.

There’s only one thing I look for when I spend Vault Keys, and that’s any Tarot troop that I don’t yet have. (As a fully F2P player, that means one new Tarot troop every ~3 months or so.) Almost everything else in that drop table may as well be useless garbage to me, although the occasional “jackpot” of Gems can be a welcome happenstance.
Admittedly, getting that new Tarot troop is a royal pain-in-the-tucchus. And one that gets increasingly difficult over time because there are more Tarot cards to sort through but the same overall odds to pull one at all. (Let alone the one I “need”.)
I wish the system were better. But at least there are semi-reliable ways to farm Vault Keys in some quantity and the Vault battle itself is a really quick thing to go through.

Not at all just highlighting the absolute trash that we get. These are supposed to be epic but they are anything but. Really hoping they get a rework because shards and cedrics shouldn’t be in an epic key imo

I can’t remember last time I got something half decent from them, and opened like 50 the last year or so.

For me: Vault’s useful for restocking Gems; and for farming for Orbs of Glory, particularly Major Orbs of Glory, for medalling up mythics and legendaries; quicker and easier than grinding Explore for Nysha tokens.
Queen of Cups is in the drop table from 2 campaigns ago, and the Queen of Runes should be added next week. (But Jeto is probably swamped, so we should be patient…)
No changes to vault key rewards (besides the new chaos orbs we got) makes them not that valuable to end gamers. We just get the new Tarot card and only the gems have some value.
I asked about changing vault key rewards, and nothing has happened, so all our opinions are just dust in the wind anyway…

The Taranium has a link to a table the fantastic Shirley keeps updated. It shows which tarot cards have gone into the vault, as well as what other previously paywalled troops are available for F2F players.
Actually my rewards usually are much worse than those. 100 shards and 12K souls is extremely good compared to other stuff. And I have 12m spare souls already. 
As long as there’s no Cedric I’m fine with any rewards.

We should just stop getting troop cards from vault keys once we have 4 copies, just like guild keys with those common guild troop cards. It would help make vault keys more valuable and remove about 50% of the useless rewards.
I have a better chance negotiating a deal with Calico than that ever happening.
