I have had an on-again, off-again relationship with Gems of War, and have recently started to get back into it after the 2.0 update. Am I bonkers, or did the Ice Witch used to have different artwork? For some reason every time I look at her something just seems off. Heck, I could be confusing her image with one from another game. I just thought I’d check to see if anyone knew, and, if so, if a link to the older/different/variant artwork exists.
Yes, Ice Witch use to have better brighter art, but they changed it out for the current art due to the previous character’s lighting not being correct compared to other troops. It is the only troop in the history of this game to get an art change after release.
Thanks for the responses ! I’m glad to see I wasn’t going crazy. I like the older art better, but I can see the critique on the lighting. Thanks for finding that image Tacet.
