Dervish Class is supposed to give 2 to all skill points to allied Monsters with 4 or 5 gem matches. However, only shield, life and attack get 2 skill points added. Magic only gets 1 point added for Trihorn
Currently noticed in Class Trial for Dervish. This happens in every game
This is Trihorn’s spell, according to the database over at Taransworld:
Deal [(Magic / 2) + 3] damage to the first Enemy, and knock them to the Back. Repeat 2 more times.
When it gains 2 magic, each “burst” of damage should only do one additional point of damage.
Are you certain that it’s only getting one point of magic when the effect kicks in, and can you provide a screenshot or other evidence to back that allegation? Or is it getting two points of magic but only the one point of damage and that’s what you appear to be noticing? Suggesting that it’s actually working the way it is supposed to, but your baseline assumption is the one that’s erroneous?

It certainly works correctly on Steam; I second that you’re likely looking at purple damage number (which indeed increases by 1) and mistaking it for magic stat. Plenty of us have done the same thing one time or another.
Yeah, most Troops have a 1:1 scaling between their Magic stat and their spell effect, but there are still many Troops who scale differently and they’re not always easy to spot.
Sandrunner, for example, also has 2:1 scaling between Magic and damage dealt, but its spell hits 2-3 three times (for a cumulative damage of 1.5-2x its Magic stat).
