If there’s a Dust Devil that starts with full mana, just put your Rear Rank troop in first place. let DD fire it’s spell (which it will do pretty much straight away) and you’re back to where you should be
Then concentrate on killing the Dust Devil before it can recharge.
Related to this, I had Behemoth up front, but it got zapped into a Giant Toad.
So I just kept arranging the board to give the opposition skull matches, let them kill the Toad, then used Abynissia to summon an Infernal King…
