Let me explain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up.
In spite of royal warnings, the hay bale, pitchfork-wielding peasants of Sword’s Edge continued their unabashed overfishing of regional rivers. Each time the local magistrates warned them, they just claimed that outdated imperialist dogma perpetuates economic and social differences and summarily ignored the castle representatives.
Needless to say, they fished out the local population which created an unstable ecological matrix. This instability coupled with the extreme overuse of goblins by Krystaran warlords resulted in an infinitesimal, topological magnetic wormhole from our magnificent city straight through time and space to a Krystaran bed and breakfast named The Wench and the Bassinet.
In conclusion, our scientists stabilized and enlarged the space oddity and … well … here we are …
