So since this game has a stupid 2 gig patch that my Xbox is having trouble downloading I doubt I’ll be able to get on today, and if this continues at this rate doubt I’ll be able to get on tomorrow either, so did this screw me out of 30 gems? Or when I log in (hopefully on sunday at least) Will the gems resume their count with nothing lost?
You shouldn’t need to login on consecutive days to get the gems. That’s how it is on mobile anyway.

you have 1000 years to collect the gems, if you can not collect them in that time then you are out of luck.
