I thought it be awesome to carry three pets! One pet on our left shoulder, one pet on our right shoulder and one pet on our head. We could choose how many to carry and where to place them.

hover, you know fly above the head and shoulders.
I think, that may not work out in a graphical way. Depending on the armour, the far side shoulder has varying heigths, so if you pick a destined position, the pet will either flow above the shoulder or be mashed into the pad. And being on a lower layer, you would get half the pet cut off. Not even speaking about the weird perspective.
The pet on top in turn will have issues on the one hand depending on if there is a helmet or not, and on the other with fitting into the layout at all. You might end up having a third of it cut off on the top.
Then how about making pets magically float?
Don’t really want pets pooping on my head, bad enough when they do it on my shoulder
