I started a G-a-P
Did a PvP fight that gave me a pet gnome which I slayed and thus a pet rescue started.
I just finished fight 7 and after winning it the game said time was up and restarted.
However the rescue didn’t run his full hour but only 22 minutes.
Was it within the last 90 minutes before reset? I think pet gnomes are supposed to not trigger in the last 60 minutes to avoid not letting them run the full time, maybe it cuts an existing rescue off at that threshold too (which would seem like a bug)? Weird
If by “checked” you mean “I looked at the games menu to see if a pet was there”, but you didn’t play any battles recently, and you had the game open for a long time without playing any battles, you could’ve just not gotten the info that a pet rescue was in progress. If you are in the game, the pet rescue pops after you complete the battle, it very rarely pops on its own.
I’m long enough in this game (almost since the beginning in 2014) to make sure of things before I state them.
When I say “I checked it” I do mean I checked it and not only by looking at the games menu but also on guild chat AND since I didn’t got a reply I did an explore game before I started the GaP.
So please don’t think you are “all knowing” because there is always a chance the player in question might know what he or she is talking about!
I’ve had the pet not show even AFTER I’ve done battles. Just the other day I was grinding pvp for a good ten minutes when I got a pop up for a pet expiring in 25 minutes. So I basically logged on, checked guild chat, checked games menu, went to pvp and played ten minutes and THEN an already running pet rescue announced itself to me.
That wasn’t normal even by the abnormal standards of the game. haha. Long time guild mates are all kinda trained to automatically announce pets on discord and/or guild chat. This one must have been a guild newbie, I guess. Anyway…
When folks point out the possible weirdness, it’s not an attack on you. Don’t assume people think you don’t know what you are talking about. Some of the weirdness in this game is rare or inconsistent and it’s entirely possible to either not encounter the weirdness or only encounter it “differently.” We don’t know which bugs and weird things that you personally have logged. If we assume everyone is a long time player who knows everything, a lot of newer people are going to go without important info. Try to remember that the majority of us on the boards are just trying to help.
Doing my part to bump your bug thread to attract a speedy official response!
I don’t know which pet it was and most likely I have it at max anyway.
I also am not bothered to much by it for that reason, I just thought it had to be mentioned that a thing like that could happen.
Meanwhile one of my guild members has encountered something similar.
