[Contact Support] Dec 10 2024 forced update will not load the game

Started GoW today and I got a message that an update was available and I had to update in order ot play. No biggie, done this plenty of times before. Updated the app, started it again and I got a download error with the option to retry or quit. Retry simply loops back to the error message. I deleted the app and tried to reinstall, but it doesn’t recognize my info to retreive my character. Fortunately, this is only one of the devices I play the game on, so I know I’m still alive in the realm.

What happened? I play on Android OS on Samsung tablets and phones. Everything is updated regarding software, firmware and OS.

In the ticket, please provide:

  • Invite Code
  • error code type (is there a cliffy error?)
  • information that you have shared here
  • Please also confirm if it this has become an issue where your account is not being recognised and you don’t get stuck with the download error?
