I’ve noticed that no matter what level your class is at, not matter what the class is, it will always have 0 magic. Please tell me this is a bug and not a new feature.

First, note that the Magic stat on a Hero Class only applies when wielding specific weapon colors. For example, Warlord gets a Magic stat bonus only when using Red weapons, while Sentinel gets a Magic stat bonus for Brown weapons only. If the weapon color doesn’t match the class then you can still use the weapon, it just doesn’t get the bonus (and could be considerably weaker as a result).
Look closely on the “Skills” page of the class and this should be visibly displayed by the Magic stat (e.g. “+5 when using Blue Mana”). Note that in general, a Lv.20 class always show a Magic stat of 5 (but again, only with the matching color).
Also note that the total Magic stat shown on the weapon’s spell page reflects ALL applicable bonuses (kingdom/renown bonuses, team bonuses, etc). So as you build up Kingdom levels globally, this stat should basically never be zero except when your Troop gets Webbed, or if the stat has been actively stolen/eliminated mid-battle (Null Sphere, Amira, Keghammer, etc.).
