Maw, Gorgotha, Famine, Dust Devil, Wolf Knight, Keghammer for some builds, and of course Gob-chomper itself.
Did I forget anyone else useful?

That sounds right to me
I’ll be happy to be proven wrong anytime you feel like divulging the future “cadence” plans
It’s great knowing what’s coming but the two gentlemen were discussing whether or not it is necessary to keep extra cards of troops you have brought to Mythic…
FWIW, I disenchant anything I have at mythic already.
How many mountain we will need for him?
To fully trait your troops, based on their default rarity:
21 per Mythic (Famine)
16 per Legendary (Maw and Gorgotha)
12 per Epic (Gobchomper and Keghammer)
3 per Ultra Rare (Sacred Guardian)
2 per Rare (Wolf Knight and Dust Devil)
So if you were planning away for everyone listed here (there are more) you’d need 84 or 42 Gobchompers at 400 glory a piece or 16,800 Glory.
At least Famine won’t be out any time too soon so that will save you 4,000 Glory.
Wow thats a lot… I guess i will let my job and play gow 24/24
Nobody is forcing you to upgrade everything. Mountains are especially sought-after because Maw and Gorgotha are both fantastic end-game troops, but you could set a goal to fully trait only one for the event and wait for the next event to trait the other. Beware, though, that this is the only yellow-brown Epic troop in the current forecast, and other unreleased yellow-browns are either Legendary (so not available for Glory) or Ultra-Rare (so available at 300 Glory per stone instead of 200).
Technically I also forgot to carry the 1. Time to edit the above.
And hey at least we can also farm them in a month or so too.
Personally, I bought 6 Gob-Chompers just to trait himself, and waited for Rakshanin to get the rest. Bought 32 Rakshanin that week…
Mountain I will grab 28 stones. Will have to get the rest next time. Gotta budget that glory
Blade stones this week so also gonna be a big week spending glory. Again can only grab half the others will have to wait to Ghiralee
And Rakshanin is a great troop. But the math and availability clearly favors Gobchomper. I’d need 84 Rakshanin at 300 a pop or 25,200 in glory… 8400 more than just stockpiling Gobchompers.
Further, we have no idea when Rakshanin would ever come to Console. It could be a month, it could be 6 months down the line. I’d rather go for the cheaper, more sure thing.
Btw @death, we still have Ghiralee too hiding away so it’s not like Blades will be gone for long plus Celestasia does have that nerf hammer about to smack her upside the head.
That said, I’ll buy 16 Anubite Warriors if I can at 300 a pop since I now have something worth traiting. #FinallyPulledTheMaw
Congrats buddy \o/
Still don’t have maw yet. My 10 year old reminds me everyday
I lost count on how many Event Chests I opened before it finally came.
It was enough though to get my first ascended Mythic, Sand Shark. (Went from 2 to 42 in that process, technically back to 2 now.)
I agree Gob is a better deal, in terms of buying traitstones. But time is an important factor in how much Glory a player has - so while it might not be reasonable to trait up everything right away, Rakshanin gives a second chance in the near future.
I know exactly, but won’t spoil it. However, I’ve said that the gap between PC and console release time is a bit under 3 months, and shrinking rapidly… so that gives you a ballpark figure.
Lost count how many sandsharks dropped. No Maw. My son has 3 Maws
I figured you did of course. You have the fun toys there.
About that bit under 3 month window though…
looks back at almost 4 months ago at February 29, 2016. looks at today.
You know I had to mention that. whistles innocently
(Yes, still annoyed I just missed it since at the time all I could scrounge up was about 350 glory total and been waiting ever since for the 2nd chance here.)
I have 1 Queen Mab. That’s all I really need. (Ok, the 2 Soothsayers and 1 Valkyrie backing her up really go the distance there, but you get my point.)
Hail to the Queen
