Coming soon to a console near you! (Weekly Event: Khaziel)

A little short on swamps. Need to spend 3k on swamp. Will spend 5.6k on mountain. Ticked gorgotha off my to do list today. :smiling_imp:

Gem keys dropped the 16th and 17th today

Swamp green blue.

I knew that. Brain freeze.

I stuffed up the spider event wanted to buy more on the final night but had a power out for hours. Had to settle for fenrir

Ha! I just realized I counted the stones that I need for Mercy in my total… I’ll just get them when Mercy is available in the shop. Too much planning ahead

Most people who mass-buy Weekly packs are swimming in Arcane Swamps. Green Slime will be a lean week for many

@Shiratori just remember Blighted Lands also has spirit arcane stones. I think we will see that before Morthani.

Was hoping for no swamp this week but it is what it is. Farming glory week then. I hate maps

And so it does. Nice.

@Shiratori
@death

Actually, Glacial Peaks has Arcane Spirits and Blighted Lands has Arcane Darks

Venbarak which is the event troop for Blighted Lands is Blue Purple/Spirit sharing the color as Queen Mab.

Update: Added the new Khetar troops to the list.

Behold the insanity! Giants may have been frightening for their size and strength, but what about when the foe attacks your mind? Welcome to Karakoth where Warlocks and their Acolytes deal with forbidden magics to create and summon some of the most frightening opponents around. This week you can add the Green Slime to your army. While similar in role to the Giant Spider, this troop creates some Green Gems for you before turning all of them to Purple and buffing himself. Already one of the healthier and stronger troops in the game, he can provide quite the surprise for your opponent and just crush them them before they’re even aware of what hit them.

This is Karakoth’s 8th troop, so you can fully 5* this kingdom if you have enough resources.

Green Slime is Blue/Green so yes, Arcane Swamps are available once more. So here’s another chance to trait up the following as well as prepare for a few more:

Druid
Fenrir
Giant Spider (See? Very similar roles.)
Rowanne
Sabertooth Lion
Stone Giant
Treant
Webspinner

And the coming soons:
Mercy (Not soon enough.)
Naga Queen
Winter Knight

Green Slime will be available Tuesday, 6/28 when the new event begins. Abhorath will be the featured Legendary Troop in the Event Chests.

Of course, if you already saved up enough of the swamp, stay tuned cause next week we’re going home. We return to where it all started…

Broken Spire.

Hi, first time poster here.

Shiratori, just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work keeping us up to speed on forthcoming updates. I know this forum doesn’t get a ton of new posts, so it may at times feel like a fruitless exercise keeping this thread updated, but I suspect there are a number of players like me who (at least until now) have simply lurked and not contributed. Anyway, just know that your efforts are very much appreciated. I personally love getting a sneak peek at what’s in store (and what will be in the store) for the week.

It’s not directly related to this thread, but I do have a question, perhaps for those who also play on the PC/mobile side: are single-color Arcane stones (Rage, Deep, Stoic, etc.) ever offered up for purchase with Glory? The upcoming Hero classes intrigue me, but suffice it to say I don’t have enough of any single-color Arcanes to fully trait up. And as a follow-up, does anybody use the Hero with the new classes, or is he/she still relatively week compared to the other troops? I don’t mind grinding a little bit, but I’m curious if it would even be worth my while to do so.

Well thanks for starters.

Now if the Imps are officially released on console as event troops, they use the mono-color arcane traitstones so you would see those available for purchase (500 glory would get you 2 arcanes).

Also, Ghulvania and Drifting Sands had common event troops recently so whenever those show up, it would be 300 glory for 3 copies of the common and 1 arcane.

Also the hero with classes are quite strong and do see more use on PC (though there are still many hero-less decks too.) One thing that will help is after the update, heroes should receive kingdom bonuses too. Currently they don’t which further adds to their weakness. Combined with the new classes, they will make some of the stronger and tankiest troops in the game.

Aww yes, the Imps. I know they’re supposedly a low priority for the console, but I personally would love to see them make the transition. And if in doing so they open up a new avenue to get single-color Arcanes, even better. It seems like with the most recent mini-update within the past couple weeks, every battle has been yielding a traitstone. And maybe it’s just me, but it seems the ratio of minors to majors has increased as well. I even feel like gold chests have been kinder in terms of rewarding minors. If these changes are not a figment of my imagination, they’re all great, but the result is that I’m now swimming in minors and don’t have the Arcanes to go along with them.

That makes me even more excited about the Hero classes. I might be one of the few for whom the Arena is their favorite game mode, in part because of the different weapons available to the Hero, but playing with him in PVP as it stands now is suicidal. Great to hear that others see value in using him as one of their troops with the update. And as someone who for a long time played with Treant as my lead troop, happy to hear that the updated Hero is tanky as well. It’s nice to have a little protection from a Bone Dragon skulltastrophe.

Well part of that tankiness comes from having more armor so Bone Dragon will be happy indeed.

1 thing. Mono-color legendaries and hero classes are arguably the most expensive to trait fully (outside of base Mythic troops) because they need more Arcanes than multi-color ones. Some hero classes are multi-color (Necromancer being the only one I can think of off the top of my head) so those would share the same requirements as other legendary troops with the same colors.

Yeah, I thought of that conundrum after I submitted. Fortunately, the AI doesn’t always go after my most armored troop, so hopefully I’ll be okay.

I agree, the trait costs definitely seem on the high side. I’ve pretty much fully traited my commons, though, so I’d like to do something with the extra Arcanes.

Can’t wait for the update to give my Hero another shot! Every once in a while, he gets the opportunity to kill 8 enemies with his weapon, but I think he’s looking for a more permanent slot.

Minor update just to say the 1.095 version for Xbox One and Playstation 4 has been released.

And what is this tease we see amongst the troops if we show all of them…

From the Mist of Scales, Marilith and Naga Queen lurk behind the scenes.
In Zaejin, the Nobend Brothers are getting ready for some insanity.
And speaking of insane, right here in Karakoth, the Sacrificial Priest draws his knife.

As a bonus, those of you who bought Ifrit when he was leaked a couple of weeks back should see him live among the rest of your troops.

Interesting teases about what may come soon.
