They should balance the classes, there are classes that are extremely bad, with 3 bad skill options or with the horrible Level 100 skill, p They could take the Dianolist class as a base, what a horrible class. And I can’t stand opening PVP and having basically only Elementalists to play against. Since it is one of the few good classes. If they are not going to remodel the classes, they could add more skills to the classes
Taking advantage of the publication, is there any forecast of when we will have a new kingdom available?
People have been asking for classes to be re-balanced for years. The calls grew much louder when elementalist came out and was at least 8 times as powerful as any other class, and since then they’ve fallen off but it gets raised regularly.
I’d love to see the classes get balanced better, especially those that are weak compared to others, not even including elementalist.
Not sure it’ll happen any time soon, but fingers crossed it’s high on the list of stuff that needs doing.
I think they could focus on just the level 100 talents to make major improvements to each class. They could improve one class per month.
First, if a level 100 talent improves a class other than the class listed, the hero should be dual classed so the hero always benefits from the level 100 talent.
Look at the Knights class talents. The level 100 talent benefits Mechs, Divines or Urska. Why doesn’t at least one talent benefit being a knight. As is you should be dual classed depending on your level 100 talents.
Second is it really that hard to come up with something that could be unique for the Knight class? How about the ability to use armor to mitigate true damage? What about an ability to earn extra VP in PvP depending on the number of Knights in your deck. These options would make more people want to use knights. Add these 2 talents to the level 100 tier and keep one of the original three with dual class ability.
There simply aren’t enough different Talent “trees” for this to be a viable solution.
To me, a more “sensible” solution is to make the Level 100 talents more “universal”; don’t have them give benefits only to one troop type. Something that applies to everything, or that has a restriction “loose” enough that it can apply to everything, such as a color.
And if you want something that gives a powerful punch to a particular troop type, that probably should be done in Traits and not Talents. Not unless the plan is to add several dozen additional Talent trees as to have a unique one for every class, but I see that as a catastrophe waiting to happen when those are as poorly balanced as classes currently are with their traits.
Make the trait/talent apply to “all allies that share a type with the hero”.
Then it changes to match the troop type of the hero, which is already set by the class. Like the Knight class makes you a knight, so a trait would affect all knights. The same trait in the same tree, on a different class like elementalist would affect all elemental allies.
Problem solved.
I have less-than-zero faith that the programmers could code this properly. Maybe it’s them, and maybe it’s ten years of the rat’s nest that the code has undoubtedly evolved into, but it’s the sort of thing that screams “bug!” to me if the attempt were to be made.
