Do I need to do all 5 or 6 citadels battles for getting Goldmarks in PvP kingdoms the day after?

I think you have to do at least one, but I always do at least 5, for the gold marks and stuff, so not 100% sure.

the boss citadel battle gives a little goldmarks, right?
You get 15 gold marks for winning 5 citadel battles…in a row. If you’re part of the dark alliance, you aren’t getting bonus gold marks anyway on the alliance leaderboard, so just do the easier battles. The 6th battle isn’t necessary, but I would go ahead and do them because you need to do citadel battles for season goals anyway.

One cutesy little thing I’ve discovered?
On those weeks when I’m trying to minimize my PvP score as to drop a bracket, and doing so without sacrificing Gold Mark opportunities? If one of the “vulernable citadel” regions overlaps with the Silver Mark bonus, and I fight 4 battles + Guardian the day before (and leave the last sigil un-used)? When the region flips to Gold Marks the next day, four of the five “check marks” will still be filled in, therefore only obliging me to fight one follow-up battle to get those Gold Marks.
I’m diligent enough about otherwise doing my Citadel battles such that I can afford to “pass” on those 6th sigil battles when the opportunity arises and not risk missing the season goal.
