Thank you for explaining!
Is the required level IV in Adventure a new thing? I usually play on higher to progress faster so I don’t know / remember.

yep, sth new because of the new campaign structure, why exactly level 4 in explore…no clue, ask the devs, lol
A fix is being released within the next hour or so, for this.
This blog is just to announce the start of the new campaign, like always - the blog format wasn’t going to change
For all information on the changes, they were also shared in the Patch notes for this update
https://community.gemsofwar.com/t/update-8-6-patch-notes
So it is not just mentioned in the Campaign Article, it was shared in the patch notes with all the other information.. the campaign article was also shared in the patch notes and in-advance of the patch notes being released.
Should I wait to collect rewards since they are not getting added to our inventory?
We have a log of the tasks and rewards being collected - so when it comes to making sure players get the correct rewards, we can automatically grab anyone who completed those tasks
Hi there. And what about color of deeds and books? do they intend to be blue or red? Which place there’s an error - in a visual part or in a reward part?
And a lot of my comrades confirms that books and deeds are only shown but not own. Do they need to post a report or it’s a known issue and a rewards will be mailed “in a short time”?
No further reports are needed.
Also, no tickets
Still asking everyone to submit a request for your ridiculous new campaign task heroic master that is supposed to drop a red book, it drops a fake blue book that did not go into my inventory, everyone submit a request and hold these developers accountable for their mistakes
…there is no need to submit any reports, cos in the end, it’s all just coming to me.
Further reports are not going to make any progress happen faster, it just slows ME down in reporting anything else new that comes in.
As I already mentioned, we have a log of the tasks and rewards being collected - so when it comes to making sure players get the correct rewards, we can automatically grab anyone who completed those tasks.
You don’t need to report an issue, to make sure you get your missing rewards, if I have stated, no further reports needed.
we still have not received last day of guild war reward when we fought ourselves, you truly should understand that this is a real problem, how can you continue to fall short?
The thread is here for missing GW rewards, where I have mentioned I am already following up on it
I just did a battle and I finally see some progress on my campaign tasks. A bit sad that all my progress yesterday meant nothing, but at least it’s addressed and fixed. Thank you
Why did this change happen. It is like going backwards after it was made easy after many prior complaints. It really boggles the mind that this was thought to be a good change. How did the beta test feedback not say this was a mistake?
E un’altro bug atti non ne da ne rossi ne blu
I can understand their theory around changing the campaign. They wanted to bring it into parity with the PVP system, while making it even easier to gain the required stars, by just having them earned by (mostly) regular play.
As others have pointed out, a lot more time is spent on PVP now (which is what they wanted) so you will easily have 100 Campaign stars by the end of the week. With the previous system, even though they were more generalized tasks, you still might have had to grind one to finish it, breaking you out your usual playstyle.
This update also changed the rewards up a bit, and how you get them. I can’t quite recall all of the previous rewards but it’s definitely less on the free side and they’ve added shiny tokens for the mythic on paid. The problem I have with this is the way they’ve chosen to show the rewards in a slider. This is not great functionality on PC, using a mouse.
Unfortunately, this update will be forever marred due to the devs’ obvious affinity for releasing patches and just never testing them on production. Congrats.
Hi @Jeto ,
I don’t know the real figures, but I think it might be fair to say that most players never visit the forums, and even fewer read the patch notes. Indeed, I’d be surprised if the numbers are higher than 10% and 1% of players, respectively.
In that light, I don’t think Patch Notes (nor forum posts) are a good way of communicating critical gameplay information to players. Indeed, as far as gameplay information goes, the game should be fully self-contained. (By gameplay information, I mean “things you need to know about how the game works in order to play it – if not optimally, then at least solidly.”)
I actually posted my question about how you gain stars in both the Black Dragon Court (BDC) Discord server and then on the forums. Of course, our American friends may have already gone to sleep, but there were plenty of Europeans still awake. Not one person had an answer to my question. I’m not sure exactly what this means, but I think it should be worrying to you.
In the end, it took significant effort for @AMT to find the answer, and they are one person who is truly clued in to the state of the game (personally, I know the game well, but I no longer try to keep up with things – mostly since Salty stopped streaming). If someone so knowledgable struggles to find the answer, there’s definitely a problem.
Finally, even the patch notes and Game Guide do not provide complete information on which battles grant stars and which do not. For example, you can’t get stars from Daily Plunder, Dungeon or either Gnome Vault. Naturally, I’m compiling a list of what is and isn’t included, but really, that should be your job. My list includes 9 confirmed Star-givers, 8 confirmed types of battle that don’t give Stars, and 22 types of battle I don’t know either way (although 16 of those almost certainly do, and 5 almost certainly don’t).
Please update the Game Guide to cover every type of battle in the game, and don’t forget losses versus wins (I presume losses never grant Stars, but that’s only an assumption).
Thank you.
Even simpler just let every battle but training count!
