Best time to try for 20k journey

When is the best time to go for 20 k on journey? Assuming there is a certain kingdom that would be easiest?

If we ever get a Goblin journey event, that’s probably the time to do it.

Next week’s journey is Blue/Fey, which I’d probably give a miss. But if one believes the spoilers, the next journey after that (5+ weeks away) is Green/Wildfolk, so that might be somewhat tolerable if you use a Beetrix team.

I did it in week of red fey, queen titania’s extra turn helps a lot. If next week is blue fey, queen mab offers has a similar spell, another good chance.

Isn’t Mistralus a blue fey? Guaranteed extra turn. Pairing her with the wand of stars could give infinite loops.

When Testla can be used I guess. Probably very easy

I did it with yellow centaur, which I’m sure no one would recommend. What helped me immensely was the hero using a weapon that summons goblins. I summoned irongut several times, which helped a bunch.

Good luck whenever you decide to go for it :four_leaf_clover:

Red Daemon a few events back was pretty easy due to high lethal chance with Archduke and Consort of Darkness.

With the new journey changes, this week seems like a great one to go for it. I’m having a relaxed time early on using Rowanne/Mistmother and there’s enough options to push through the later miles without too much problems.

How many Tiers do you expect it to take?

Unfortunately, I’d imagine it’d be the same tier as before the change, only way more leeway on point loss and faster battles/less stressful. I didn’t math any of it out, so I’ll leave it to someone else. Tier 7 purchases offer too many extra battles compared to other tiers that even if you end up saving some battles, you’ll probably still be in the same tier amount purchased. But I also don’t push the Journey leaderboard so I’m not the right person to ask and could be incredibly wrong.

Someone has 129 Battles/20,388 miles on the leaderboard… so around there.

Tier 4 currently is 42 Battles/6,750 miles on day 1 (0 point loss).

Assuming the proper max Journey troop etc.

With 1 tier 7 I’m under 18k points out of sigils first day. Clearly easier to get the achievement than before.

19590 with 1 tier 7 after Day 2 perfect run I think.
So Tier 6 would get you horribly close in 7 days. Even with an extra raven prob be a touch short.
Anyway, pretty easy and not too time consuming to get the achievement this journey if it’s a target.
