Be careful if using GAP this coming weekend

Just a head’s up, but it’s a vault weekend this coming weekend, but the new update to the victory screens (the bit where you get your rewards) has caused a lot of problems, and it’s gonna slow you down a lot.
Since the devs are out of office for the holidays, there’s probably not gonna be a fix, so assume that if you use a GAP, you’ll get less rewards that you usually do. If you’re OK with that, fair enough, but you should be aware before you waste any verses.

Would you elaborate? I’d like to know what part of the picture I’m missing because so far I haven’t encountered game-impacting problems (at least, not what I would classify as such).
Yes, it is quite a mess (and obscures some information that should be unobscured) that the devs haphazardly slapped together pushed out as best thing since sliced bread (disclaimer - I like unsliced bread more, then I can cut off the slice that I want any given moment); but other than that? What it is that I’m not seeing?

Just having to do extra button presses and not being able to rapidly skip through rewards like you normally would during a GAP (when trying to do as many battles as possible, not caring what rewards you get).
It’s not the redesign in appearance, but the fact that often you press skip repeatedly and nothing happens, meaning you wait at least a couple of seconds before moving on to the next battle. When you’re doing a GAP all those extra seconds add up.

Same issue on (NS).

Hm, I’ll still do at least one or two GaPs just to test.

I just ran 1 hour of gap there was no difference in the speed between battles :+1:

It’s actually quicker, I did 78 battle with one drag gnome appearance on my first gap, my previous best was 76 without any drag gnomes.
I play on Xbox series x

False alarm, I’d say.
I did a few paloozas - about the same number of gnomes as before the update. The speed limiting factor is till dragonite gnomes that are too lively and require manual matching of gems to finish the battle.

Fair enough, thank you all for sharing your results. Thought it best to warn players and take a cautious approach, rather than having people spend resources and lose out. We all know how tricky it is to get anything back in those cases.

It seems to be about the same on Switch.
