Wearing either Phoenix or Sylvan armor would be equivalent to wearing “no armor” for stats purposes since both sets have zero bonuses.
If you switch to that, then check your bonus %'s on the main screen, then put on DeathKnight, you should definitely see a difference. If not, you should contact support.
