A Guild Wars attack restriction for Divinion Fields? Is this an April Fool’s joke?
It’s not funny anymore. It has become hard for me to remain professional about this. I’ll gladly opt out of that horrible experience. This isn’t “Guild Wars.” It has become a twisted fragment of its former competitive nature.
Yeah, GW in divion fields… uh… isn’t that the one where there was recently a kingdom pass and troops in the donate part, there was also one that gives 50% on startup… coincidence or a bad joke? ah. got it.
The next GW date has changed to later in the month, this just happened to go out before I got the updated schedule.
can we get the updated date for GW please
I don’t have one currently, at this stage it is May - so we can address as many issues as we can before the next event.
Divinion Fields for GW? I guess the developers are trying to get all the suckiest kingdoms out of the way quickly, either to get them out of the way or to cut down the player base some?
Wait till we get Grosh-Nak next month!
Divinion Fields?! I had a gut feeling about that.
Some of the players have already had a not-so-wonderful experience with Broken Spire teams. And now Divinion Fields is your next choice. Are you trying to anger the playerbase on purpose? Why don’t you implement some easier attack restrictions, for a change?
Oh, I guess, the devs are not aware. Divinion Fields has horrible, horrible troops (and weapons) and horrible, horrible synergy.
Centuragon for mana collection, herdmaster to cleanse, some damagers, shiny pathfinder… sure it is awfull (sarcasm)
Have you ever try to make a team before complaining?
If you want to rely on 13-15 mana, 10 /11 gem making Pathfinders in Guild Wars that locks you into 4 Centaurs (Oracle Class, if you wanted to use the hero) while basically every enemy defense is going to have Elementalist, you’re a much braver person than I am.
I’ve played enough Journey as is…
Everyone is in a same boat - Win or lose will depends on luck, tactics and team-testing. I’ve construct a team and use it in central spire - it works acceptable, sooo it’s just looks terrible at a first sight. Give it a chance)
I have some concerns about a kingdom restriction in Divinion Fields though:
•The Decaying Orbit and Centuragon work well together with Orrery (maybe Herdmaster for cleanse), but you leave yourself vulnerable to a slow start.
•Many may opt to try The WorldBreaker (which honestly should have gotten his mana cost reduced in the latest Divinion Fields rework), but he needs a lot of mana to get going and the Cattauri King is a paid for only troop atm that could help.
•You could silence the first troop with Eye of Orion and get a summon and decent mana, but again, this leans into WorldBreaker because the damage from other sources is pitiful.
•There is also the fact that you have to use elementalist against powerful troops like Takshaka because you need to stun and freeze them to deal with the threat. This gives the opponent more time to collect mana and makes it more difficult to deal with submerge and other things.
There are more things you could do to counter defenses, but these are my initial thoughts. Kingdom restrictions feel like they force players into having not only mythics from the kingdom, but the mythics that are actually good. Guild Wars are not designed for newer players at all and veterans have to constantly shuffle around and change teams if they’re up against high ranked guilds.
There’s also the fact that Blue or Green keeps will always be chosen because the other keeps are so weak. Welcome to the new meta of Takshakas, Emberclaws, and leprechauns powering up defenses faster than us and being able to devastate us without a good starting board.
Is Vault twice in two weeks correct?
probably because they swapped Vault and Guild Wars (to address GW issues)
I won’t brag, but I guess I will be able to costruct a viable team. Especially since I haven’t missed the Kingdom Pass.
But, let’s assume that not everyone in this game is a high-level player with the full collection of mythics.
My point was that the Broken Spire teams weren’t so awful, but I’ve seen a lot of negative feedback about them. Divinion Fields will raise even more negativity.
I already found a Divinion Fields team that reliable gets you win in 4 turns, with an 8 of-a-kind and as many extra turns as you want
Can it lose to 3xTak? For sure but even in old Guild War there were matchups where you had to rely on luck
New Guild War requires a full and updated collection. Is it intentional? My guess is YES
Thanks so much, was just coming to ask please don’t run it with the Kingdom Reborn event. Problem solved!
